Well, Friday night was Northgate High School's first football game. It was also Harrison's first band performance. They did a wonderful job on their half-time show. We really enjoyed watching them. They only performed a portion of their competition show. Mr. Armstrong, the band director, has informed the band that they will be adding more and more to the half-time show each home game. I guess on an important note, Northgate won the football game :c). Goooo Vikings! Nothing Less Than the Best!Their first competition is October 4th in Carrollton, Georgia. Before that, though, Northgate will host its own Marching Band Festival known as the Valhalla Marching Classic. They will not compete in this, but be an exhibition band.

Go Northgate! We can't wait to go to the games - it's so fun! It'll be even better now that Harrison's in the band.
They've been practicing at least 3 times a week for 2 hours since the week after the 4th of July. And...this isn't the whole show. They have two more songs and a "drum break" to put on the field. You'll have to come see them sometime.
