Well, school started last Wednesday for our kids (I'm just getting around to blogging this--you'll understand why in a minute). Hannah is in 5th grade this year. She LOVES her teacher Mrs. White. Harrison had Mrs. White for 4th grade. So, we were so excited to have her with our family again. She also has Mrs. Glazier for two other classes. They switch classrooms to get the kids ready for Middle School next year (What are they going to do to get the parents ready?). She has REACH on Wednesdays with Mrs. Monk. We were a little disappointed that she wouldn't be having Mrs. Ewing again, but Mrs. Monk seems really nice.
Harrison started 9th grade this year at Northgate High School (He didn't want me to take a picture of him). He has five classes this semester: Math, Health, Band, Gifted Literature, and Advanced American Government/Civics. After Christmas, he'll drop Civics and Literature and add Gifted Biology and Spanish II. He is really enjoying his classes so far.He also started seimnary on Thursday (he's not so thrilled about that part). Lots and Lots of changes at our house.
With a new school year comes new schedules. Here's what ours looks like:
Monday: Harrison-Band practice 4-7pm; Hannah-gymnastics 4:30-7:00pm
Tuesday: Harrison-Band practice 5-8pm
Wednesday: Hannah-gymnastics 4:30-7:00pm; Activity Days 7-8:30pm; Harrison-Scouts 7-8:30 pm
Thursday: Harrison-Band practice 5-8pm
Friday: Hannah-gymnastics 4:30-7pm; Harrison-Football game 7:30-10:00pm
Saturday: Hannah-gymnastics competitions 7:30-11:30am (sometimes in Macon & Vidalia); Harrison-Band competitions or practice ALL DAY
Luckily, this isn't EVERY week. Sometimes we actually have Saturday off. It's been a lot to juggle, though. It's hard to figure out when and what to eat for dinner. I guess we'll survive. On top of all of this, Harry is training for his half-marathon in January. I'm just merely trying to keep up with everyone :c).

It's busy at your house! Sounds like everyone is doing good! Harrison is too grown up now for first day of school pictures, huh? Darn it. Welcome to a new chapter of you life!
Sounds like you're running the REAL marathon!
PS: How about dinner again sometime?
