Well, our Fourth of July was quite an event. So much so that I didn't even bother taking any pictures. So, I'm using a few pictures that my friend Charissa Browne took. So, here's how the day went...
7:30 AM--Get up to get ready for the PTC Parade
7:30 AM--Get up to get ready for the PTC Parade
8:00 AM--Take Harrison to the Pulsipher's (he didn't want to be a part of the parade)
8:45 AM--Arrive on Robinson Rd. in PTC, bust a gut trying to find the Taylormade Gymnsastics float only to find out that we had about another 45 minutes to wait before we even started (UGH!)
9:30-11:30 AM-- Harry rides, I walk/run, and Hannah is upside down for a majority of the 3 1/2 mile parade route

12:00-1:30 PM--Recover from the parade! That heat will get you every time.
2:00-4:30 PM--Birthday party at my parents. 4th of July is my Dad's birthday (Hope you had a good day, Dad!)
4:30-5:30 PM--Buy stuff to make sub sandwiches for dinner, pack the picnic bag, and get ready for the fireworks.
6:30-10:30 PM--Go to Flat Creek Golf Course, hang out with friends, watch the kids do sparklers, watch the fireworks, have a great time!

I really love that we all get together as friends and family and do the same thing every year. It's so much fun.
10:30-11:45 PM--Came home and did our own fireworks. We thought we had too many fireworks and that the neighbors might call the cops on us, but we figured we were safe when our neighbors next door started to shoot off their fireworks. They had some HUGE fireworks. You'd hear this big BOOM followed by a whistling in the sky; and then, you'd see this gigantic burst of color right over our house. It was really cool.
12:00 AM--Go to bed and CRASH!

And my kids called it quits after only 45 minutes: "It's too hot daddy!" Must be those (cold) German genes.
That is a crazy day. I am impressed by how much you were able to fit in one day. It osunds like you guys had a lot of fun!
It was fun to see you IN the parade. We did go to flat creek golf course. Is that where you were? Sounds like you had a great 4th!
Wow--you can run more than one style of marathon :-)
What a fun 4th of July! In all the years we lived near PTC we never saw the parade - sad huh? We were always out of town and now we moved away... I love parades and love all the friends in PTC!
