Update on Hannah

On Monday, Hannah begins participating in the REACH program at school. It is the gifted program; and she will attend this special class once a week (on Mondays). She had to be tested to get into the program. Harrison got into the program in the 5th grade. She will be able to participate in special study groups and go on educational trips to Savannah and Washington, D.C. over the next couple of years. She is really exctied to work with Mrs. Ewing and Mrs. Monk at school. Mrs. Ewing was Harrison's REACH teacher and she said that she is looking forward to being able to work with the Schaefer family again.

Hannah also tried out for the gymnastics team today and.....SHE MADE IT!!! Way to go Hannah! She will start on Monday attending the Team practices. They will be on Mondays and Tuesdays from 4:00 to 6:30 p.m. and Saturdays from 10:15 a.m to 12:45 p.m. It's a lot of commitment and work, but Hannah says she's ready for it.

This has been a big month for Hannah. She has REACH, gymnastics, and chorus, now. There are going to be a lot of changes for her, but we know she can handle it. We are so proud of her.
